I have two gen1 nest displays.

On the same day they both started displaying "can't connect to Wi-Fi"

They have both been connected without issue at the same locations for several months.
There have been no changes made to the local Wi-Fi router set up.

I tried a factory reset which temporarily allows them to reconnect.

Then when they auto update again they both lose connection to Wi-Fi.

It seems like the auto update has effectively bricked these devices as they are inoperative without a Wi-Fi a connection.

Hi Duane,

Apologies for my delay in response, and sorry to hear about your WiFi connectivity issues.

Can you let me know where and when you purchased your Nest, as well as which country? I'm going to look into warranty options for you.

I look forward to your reply and am hopeful we can resolve this together.
