Google Home app crash connecting to Nest thermostat

Home app keeps crashing when trying to connect to nest thermostat.   Thermostat wont set up Wi-Fi without going through Home to set up.  I am stuck with no solution.  

please resolve or I will return for refund.

Sorry to hear abut your experience and for the delayed response. I want to check on this further. 

A few questions — at what part of the setup process is the app crashing? If you are getting a specific message, could you provide a screenshot of it? Also, have you tried setting up your thermostat on another mobile device if it goes through?
