Nest Detect Sensor Not connecting

benh

Hello,

The battery on my nest detect sensor needed to be replaced. It was working just fine, only needed a new battery. Once I replaced the battery, the sensor was not connected. I attempted to get it connected. no luck. so I removed the sensor from my profile and attempted to add it again to my system. No luck. The blue light turns on. I try to proceed to the next step and it gives an error code of, NSO26(4060). I can not find any info on this error code. I have also attempted to rest the sensor by holding down the button for 10 sec until it flashes yellow. still no luck.

Please help!

Thank you!!!!

Ben

Hey folks,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. To confirm, are you getting a pulsing blue or 1 blue pulse? What phone are you using (Android, iOS)? Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on. Also, have you tried reinstalling the Nest app to make sure it's up-to-date? Keep us posted.

Thanks,

Archie
