I had the Nest Protect installed in my home 10 years ago - I have 5 devices. One has not worked for 8 years, the 3 upstairs units go through new batteries every 6 months or less and have been doing so for about 4 years. I am using the recommended Ultimate Lithium batteries.
I have tried to find a phone number for techincal support - with no success. I would like to tak to a live person to find out what I need to do. I'd like to get a technician out here to test the devices and replace if necessary.
Please help me out here! Thank you.

they are 10 years old, there is no warranty at this point. they have discontinued the product and partnered with a 3rd party for future releases - there is a press release around here somewhere. none of them are hardwired? when I had them they were hardwired and I never had any problems with them.
