Nest Smoke and CO Alarm devices disappeared from my NEST App

I have a few Nest Smoke and CO alarms, a month back they just disappeared from my NEST app. I cannot add them back without factory reset. However, I can see them connected on my Nest Wifi Network. My question is how do I bring them back to my app? The Nest App on iOS is 5.70.0, is current I believe.  I would like to avoid reset.

Hey kmadiwale,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. It's possible that your Nest Protect is connected to a different account. Try checking your other accounts to see if it shows there. Also, resetting the device is the only way to add it to your account.
