Nest protect not connecting to existing system

I’ve had two other Nest Protects working perfectly for a few years. Loved them so I brought 2 more.  Have migrated from nest to google but I cannot get these new ones to connect. It was so easy last time and I’ve spent hours trying to sort this.  I have 240v wired units. During set up it seems to fine my other nests but just will not connect to the new one and says failed. Just don’t know what to do next and wishing I hadn’t just spent another £200 at the moment. Any ideas?

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that you are unable to see your Nest Protect in the Google Home app. I'm happy to assist you. Before we proceed, I need to ask a few questions to better understand the issue.

When you attempt to add your Nest Protect, do you see any error messages or codes?

Does your Nest Protect appear in the Nest app?
