My nest app disconnected somehow and when I connected again none of my protect fire alarms are connected to the app and neither is the thermostat. How does this happen? It's like a reset and I have to connect all devices now again after using this for 2 years

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about what happened to your Nest devices as well as for the delayed response.
A few questions — were there changes made on the Nest account before this happened? Are you logging into your Nest app using a migrated Google account or an old Nest one? Also, are you the only one who has access to your Nest devices or do you have added family members on your Nest app?
