Replaced my router with a BT Smart Hub 2 on fibre.App won’t connect to the Device to change setting

BT smarthubs are constantly causing issues with smart home devices, I have talked to a number of people with similar issues.  If you are determined to use the hub, the only thing I can say is factory reset your nest device and try setup from scratch, but if it fails know that it is an issue with the BT hub and it's settings.
