We beg you, please get rid of the Nest App.

We have had not one, but two billionaires who’ve built whole companies, then whole spaceships, and have gone to actual outer space. Surly a company that has also made billions (off our personal/private data) could figure out a way to go to one platform to manage all of their “smart” devices. 

no????

But they figure if a broken unfunded half working product still gets sales, why actually make it work? They treat Nest like it's grandma and they're ready to ship her off to assisted living. If they get rid of the nest app, they wont bother adding devices to google home. They'll likely abandon them entirely.

We understand your side about controlling all of your Nest devices on one app. However, there are still old Nest devices which can only be navigated through the Nest app. This is for our users who still have the old versions of Nest devices. We’ll take note of your thoughts and ensure that we'll learn from your experience as we continually improve our products and services. This issue is unresolved. Telling us what we already know about the devices is not a solution. Do not lock this thread. "We'll take this as feedback then ignore what you have to say and actually answer no questions." 

 

What we want is for the devices that DO NOT WORK OUTSIDE THE NEST APP to be migrated to the Google Home app and not abandoned. (Or at least stop selling them to the public if they don't work.)
