Sorry if this has been asked, my search skills are lacking.
I have an old mercury based Honeywell thermostat with 2 wires, red and white.
connected the red wire to R and the white wire to W and the thermostat is working for heating fine.
the thermostat came to me with a low battery so I cannot connect to WiFi.
bought a transformer that was supposed to work and I am supposed to connect it between Rc and C.
problem is I do not have an Rc.
my brand new nest only has Y, C, W, G, R, and *OB
Where do I connect this transformer to charge my batteries
thanks in advance

You must purchase the Nest Power Connector to use the Google Nest Thermostat with your system.
Then wire it like this.

Thanks Patrick
I did buy the nest power adapter, but could not find the use case that you sent me above, which matched exactly what I was looking for.
I installed per this diagram and instructions and the Nest is functioning properly and no more equipment errors.
THANK YOU
