2-wire wiring

My current Honeywell thermostat only has two wires (Red and White). The google home app tells me that I need to add a nest power connector. I have heating and AC. Will the nest power connector work or will I need to get a professional out to add wiring.

If your system isn't compatible, you'll likely need a professional technician to check your wiring system and get professional assistance.
