2nd Gen Nest Thermostat no power

 hi. Came down this morning and the thermostat was dead. Charged it a bit put it back on and it says no power to RH wire or something. Then later the messages I photographed. Also doesn't seem to be holding a charge in the battery. Will a dead battery stop it working properly ? By the way it's been fine for about 2 years.

Hi there! I'm really sorry that you're experiencing this issue, but I'm here to assist you. Can you please tell me if you have any LED lights on your Heat Link? The Heat Link is the square white box, that's usually installed close to the boiler.
