setting maximum temperature

we have our maximum temperature set at 20here in the uk. the thermostst seems to have a mind of its own and goes up to 27 we ever have to turn the boiler off or cool the nest thermostat down then this will work for a few days and then goes backup to 27. Do we need to replace it or reset it back to factory.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue, but I'm here to help. Is there any exact pattern to the activation at 27 degrees? If it is you might have accidentally set a point in the schedule, or it might be the Auto Schedule. As a first step, please try going on the Settings of the Thermostat Display > Nest Sense > Auto Schedule, and disable it.
