3rd Gen Thermostat for hot water and 2 heating types

Hi,

I plan to purchase a 3rd Gen Thermostat, but before I do this I need to check if it supports the following:

  • Hot water system (via a gas powered Bosch system boiler)
  • 1x radiator (via the same gas pwoered Bosch system boiler)
  • Warm air heater (Johnson & Starley)

Ideally, I will have two heating zones that can be controlled separately.

If your current environment has two separate thermostats, you would need to need have two separate nest thermostats to control the system. If the heating system is controlled by a 24 VAC control system The nest third generation can handle multiple heating modes. Specifically, it can handle what they called dual fuel systems. But this would require a NestPro to install and configure your nest thermostats.
