When there are connection issues between the thermostat and link, why does the link default to manual and how can I change it so that the heating/water only activates when I actually press the manual button on the link?

Thank you so much for reaching out. The manual mode is designed to activate and deactivate only when you press the button. Please check this link for further info.

Can you tell us if this activates outside these actions?
