3rd gen base bas plate

I need a replacement base or my 3rd gen nest.  The link to the store says no longer available.   Is there any other resource?

They are not sold on their own, but ebay could be your friend.

@cj42, thanks for posting. Let me take a look at this for you. 

 

  1. Are you located in North America or Europe?
  2. What is the reason for the replacement?
  3. By any chance, did you accidentally damage the device? If so: 
    • Did you drop the device?
    • Did you remove the cover or disassemble it for any reason?
  4. Have you contacted our phone support prior to reaching out to us about the replacement? If so, do you have the case ID from your conversation with support?
  5. Was the base diagnosed by an HVAC technician as faulty? If so, could you send us their diagnosis for it?

1. I'm in North America

2. The base isn't working.  I have multiple nest thermostats same version and was able to swap bases and found that there is an issue with the Rh connection not showing up.

3. no damage.

4. I called and spoke to support but they were not helpful

5. no, I diagnosed it by replacing with a known good base as well as trying the bad base on another location and getting the same issue.

I did not receive a case ID.  It's been a few years since I bought it I think
