6 digit vs 7 digit entry key

Hello, I'm trying to add a nest learning thermostat to my existing nest account. The app is requiring a 7 digit code but my nest thermostat is providing a 6 digit code. I've made sure I'm on the most current version. I've have searched within FAQs and Google, No fixes, any ideas? Thanks for your help

Which app are you using for setup? Nest Learning Thermostat must be setup using the Nest app, not Home app.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. For your Nest Learning Thermostat, please use the Nest app to add it. You can also get the Entry Key by going to the Nest app option under the Settings of your thermostat. Please visit this link for additional reference.
