Recently, I have notice on two separate occasions when I happened to be outside near my AC condensor that during a cool cycle the compressor shut off for a split second and came right back on. The unit had been running for at least 10 minutes and continued too run for at least another 5 minutes after the "glitch" before satisfying the call for cool and shutting down normally.
I have a Gen 3 nest learning stat that has been is service for about 3 years. It is wired using a "C" wire. I double checked all connections in the stat, furnace, and AC unit, all good. Inspected condensor contactor connections etc as well as read contactor for ohmic value ( 17.5 ohms). Everything seems fine. seems like it has to be an issue with the Nest.
