Nest Thermostat - set fan to run 24 hours a day

radar51

For several years, my thermostat allowed the fah to run 24 hours a day to match my 2 stage furnace. This has now stopped. How do I get this back. If I go to settings and say Always, it still asks for number of minutes per hour to run, and for what hours. The most I can set it for is from 12AM to 11PM which is 23 hours. Any suggestions?

Hey there radar51,

Welcome to the Nest Community Forum! What I would recommend in your situation is to set a daily fan schedule, here is how to do that from the Thermostat itself:

  1. Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Fan.
  4. Choose Schedule.
  5. Set how long you’d like your fan to run per hour, or set it to always run.
  6. Select what hours of the day you’d like your fan to run. If you have a multi-speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.
  7. Select Done to set your schedule.

Give that a try, and see if that works out for you.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran
