Bought a nest for my new house. It won’t connect to the nest app. Despite multiple attempts it doesn’t offer a code to connect to nest app. I am only able to connect to Google home app.
I have an old nest sensor. This won’t connect to Google home app only nest app.
as a result I have invested into a nest “ecosystem” that doesn’t provide functionality. Please help!

Hey Connor,
Thanks for the reply and we're sorry for the delay here.
Could you share a photo of your current wiring configurations with your Nest Thermostat E? I'd like to check the settings as we may need to select the right heating or cooling systems from the settings.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Ryan

Hi Connor,
Thanks for the response. You can find the Entry Key on your Nest Thermostat E by pressing your thermostat display to open the Quick View menu> Turn the ring and Choose Settings> Turn the ring to Nest app and press the ring to select it> Select Get Entry Key to retrieve a unique entry key.
Thanks,
Edward
