AC no longer showing on thermostat

My Nest unit is 4 years old and original unit in the house. I tried to turn it to cooling and that option is no longer showing. How can I get this back and why is it doing this?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with calling for cooling with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

• What Nest Thermostat model do you have?
• How is your Nest Thermostat wired?

Also, please make sure that the Y wire on your Nest Thermostat is seated properly. Make sure that you turn your breakers off before touching the wires.
