Adapting Nest Learning Thermostat from NA to Europe

The US / North America product supports air conditioning, while the European model does not. The European model only supports heating.

I have 5 HVAC systems in Italy to install, so the idea is to bring models from the USA to Italy and simply add transformers to reduce power from 220 to 110v.

Has anyone already done this?

Thanks for reaching out. We don't recommend using the North American Nest Thermostat for use in EU as it's not designed for EU HVAC systems. You could also try to contact our Nest Pros to check if this is possible. You could click on this link to learn more about our Nest Pro services.
