This is driving me CRAZY. I have not been able to change the temperature in my house for a week or so. I finally have time to research and realize that something insane has happened...
I have the NEST app (that is what we bought). I go to the app and it recognizes my named home but the NEST app only shows Home and I click on that, then it is Home (No recent activity), under that is a house/person Away.
HOW do I get this app to allow me to control my home temperature!?
When I follow previous directions read on this site, I get to the point of entering a key and then the thermostat gives me the message "This thermostat is connected to an account."
It's enough to make me want to bang my head on the wall...

Can you erase your nest app, then reinstall and sign in, see if that kicks things off for you. Usually if I click home, I see the two options (home, away), I click home again and all my devices show.

@Cloverbee, aside from the steps suggested above, it appears that your thermostat is linked to an account that was used to set it up. Please make sure that you are signed in with the correct email address in the Nest app. If so, check for other home structures available where it might be connected. Here's your guide on how to switch structures, and let me know if that helps you show your thermostat.
