After winter turning on cooling/AC calls for heat from Heat pump

The run down of my house

I have two separate HVAC (Heat pump)systems.  Both with 3rd gen nest.  Both HVAC (heat pump) Nest thermostats worked last spring through the winter.

Fast forward to this season (spring).  On the master bedroom Thermostat 1 (T1) side I call for AC and the heat turns on.  Call for heat and the heat turns on.   On the guest bedroom Thermostat 2 (T2)side I call for AC I get AC, call for heat I get Heat.

Now to trouble shoot, I have swapped the T1 location to the T2 location and vice versa.  On the Master side with the T2 I now get AC when calling for AC and get heat when calling for heat.  On the guest bedroom side I now get Heat when calling for AC and get Heat when calling for heat.

So I am thinking there is an issue with the actual thermostat.  Any ideas

When people post problems, you should include all the data associated with the thermostat in question.  Include the Equipment Configuration from the thermostat itself.  It appears that by your description, the No Cooling problem moved with the thermostat from one location to the other.  What is not clear yet is if this is a configuration problem or a thermostat hardware failure.

When you run a heating and cooling test using the test menu, what does a system do?  When I was asking for pictures, this is an example of what I wanted to see.
