Air conditioner coming on when off on nest

After using the air conditioner for several hours I turn it off on the nest at night. After turning off about 20 min later i can here the AC unit outside try to kick on for 10 secs. Then continues to do this every 40/60 min all night long keeping me awake. Any idea why or what i should do?

I'm sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. Let's check this out. Could you please share a photo of your thermostat wiring? Also, what's the power reading of your thermostat?
