Always stuck In ECO mode

My three nest thermostats have not been working properly for over a year now. I have been in contact with nest tech support to no avail.

they have me doing the same things over and over. 
promises have gone unfulfilled.

my thermostats are just stuck in eco mode unless I manually change them myself. I have three thermostats that I have waisted my money on.

no idea when , if this will be fixed.

people have mentioned workarounds to get the nest working, but it’s cumbersome.
