When I first had Nest (and quickly realised that I should have bought Hive instead), I found an app which provided proper geolocation, which was desupported (some poor guy having realised that half the Nest user community was using his pet project), then a replacement which Google helpfully destroyed by restricting Works with Nest, while still not providing any alternative.
As you may detect this is a bit of a sore point with me, as I'm sure it is with others. Yes, I save on my heating by having heating turn off when I leave but then my flat is cold when I return because I hear the heating turn on as I turn the key in the lock.
So has any developer managed to get authorised for Works with Google so that we can get the functionality which should have provided from the beginning?
