For two days now the Energy History display of the Nest iOS app has failed to report total hours of use. For each day the app still shows periods when the system ran and temperature setting changes by time, but instead of a total it says “No usage.” Local network and internet connectivity are good; there have been no settings changes.
From the volume of similar recent messages this looks like a problem with Google’s data acquisition and processing, so I hope they will fix it quickly.

I dont see a new Nest app update, Last update was on December 14, 2022.
Now my nest app home/away feature for ECO, also stopped working. It will not go AWAY mode when no one is home. Only can be achieved manually

@KWin, uh oh! Could you please try restarting your thermostat itself? This is to make sure that it is synchronized with your internet connection. Also, try to check the energy history in the Nest Web App page and let me know if it shows the same.

I got tired of the problems with Nest Thermostat. Since Google took over Nest, all with problems. Got me an Ecobee and love it.

I’m currently away but thank you I’ll try this when I get back in a weeks time.
to reset the thermostat do I just unplug it?
Also at the moment my heating is off but the hot water comes on twice a day. I’m wondering if it only reports on the heating (using the same boiler).?

@KWin, if your thermostat tile in the Nest app shows that it's on, your hot water is possibly running. But if it only shows in the energy history that it turns on, this is most likely about the feedback issues we're experiencing. In the meantime, whenever you have a chance to check it out on the Nest Web App page, please keep me posted on how it goes.
