Auto Schedule SUCKS

Perrin
Community Member

The auto schedule is turned off on my nest thermostat and yet, the cool setting keeps changing on its own! It is beyond frustrating. I have eco turned off too. I don’t want it to get to 76 degrees in here when I set it to 70 just an hour beforehand!! It is also waking me up drenched in sweat every morning. I hate it. I hate this thermostat.

Hello Perrin,

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I’m sorry to hear the auto-schedule feature is not working as you expected. Don’t worry; let’s try to implement some tips.

The Google Home and Nest apps let you create and customize your Nest thermostat's temperature schedule, or you can adjust it on the thermostat itself.

If you want to deactivate this option, follow these steps:

Choose the option Settings, select Restart, then Schedule, and finally reset the auto-schedule. This option will clear out your entire temperature schedule. Use this option if you want your thermostat to start learning a new schedule.

After the thermostat is on again, go to the option Nest Sense, then auto-schedule, and choose the option off. Scroll down and tap the option Done

Let me know if this information helps.

Regards,

Daniel
