Away function not working

My AWAY function no longer works.  When I leave the house and set the thermostat to AWAY on my iPhone, it doesn’t seem to stick.  AWAY I set to be on ECO mode 24/7.  It continues to run the HOME program.  My only way to make it work is to set ECO mode as a temperature hold.

I see others have this same problem.  Any solutions yet?

the only solution seems to be to also run the Samsung Smart Things app as well with setting up routines on it, keeping the Nest/Google Home app also set to always on in Location Settings.
