Base Replacement

The baseplate in one of my learning thermostats has a broken rh connector. I have been able to determine this by mixing and matching with my other nest thermostat. I need a replacement base. Is this possible? I haven’t been able to even get in touch with phone or chat support.

Hey @CCMA

Thanks for reaching out and for trying that step to isolate the cause of your concern. I'll be more than glad to check your warranty options for your thermostat's base. To start, could you provide what country are you in and when and where was this Nest Learning thermostat bought?

Best,

Melba

I am in the United States. The Nest was purchased from the Nest Store in 2017 (I think). 3rd generation learning.

I have the same problem with the Common connect. (E79) I had checked with  another base, Nest was working properly. I need a base.

I have the same problem with the Rc connect. I had the AC repair folks out and he did the same, swapped the base plate board and the problem of no power to the Rc followed the board.

One of the workman who was doing some work in my house and had to take off my Nest Learning Thermostat (2nd generation I believe) apparently discarded the wiring base for the thermostat. I am trying to find out where and how I can order a replacement wiring base for it. Thanks
