You say the thermostat is only 4 months old, no need for warranty. Just get the installer back, as they are responsible.

Two others on system are ok all the same install time no luck getting Google

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about it. — a few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Also, did you notice a low battery message before the issue occurred?

To know what type of thermostat you have, take a look at this guide.

I appreciate your help, @Frustratedddd.

Best,

Jenelyn

Hello folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for assisting, Jenelyn.

@tdhassett, I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. Your system may not provide enough power or any power to either the thermostat or a specific wire (so the thermostat can’t complete a circuit and won't hold the charge).

If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, try charging its display for at least an hour and waiting until it turns on. If so, ensure all the wires on its base are properly connected, then put the display back on it. Also, if you have the same thermostat version with those working, try to swap the displays and see if it works.

Keep us posted.

Regards,

Mark
