I've just installed the Nest Thermostat (2020) to connect with my boiler. I've gone through the set up and despite setting the Heat to Off (confirmed on the Nest and in the Home app), the boiler is constantly in Space Heating mode and my pipes are hot. It worked properly with my old thermostat. Only when I pull the Nest off the base plate does it shut off.
I've factory reset the Nest multiple times, disabled all the schedules and Early-On settings from the app, turned the boiler off and on, and rechecked/restripped the wires again to confirm connection. I believe it's wired correctly (see Home app screenshot).
I've also tested this with a second Nest and am experiencing the same issue.
