C wire not receiving power error

Please help! My ac keeps getting an error message that the c wire isnt getting enough power. My ac works but it will shut off randomly during the day. When I installed the new thermostat I connected the C wire into the slot but not sure why it’s not working.

Thanks for posting in the community! Sorry to hear that you're getting this error message about C-WIRE not getting power. No worries, help is here! I'd like to ask you a few question to gather more details:

 

  1. What Nest Thermostat model do you have?
  2. What error code is shown on the display?
  3. Have you checked the power on the C-WIRE with a voltmeter?
