Can I use a Nest to replace a simple boiler timer?

Is it possible to replace an old boiler timer with the googlenest? The timer is a simple timer dial switching off/on as selected on the dial.

Is it possible to replace this with the nest so it is simply switching off or on at set times?

In future, when we upgrade old boiler then we can use the smart thermostat.

 features?

Or is there a better device to use for this simple timer switch?

Hi there, thank you so much for reaching out. Based on what you've told me so far, the old boiler seems to be compatible with the Google Nest Thermostat. Can you tell me if you ran a compatibility check?
