Can a temperature sensor be shared by two nest thermostats

ncwanderer

I have a room that is heated and cooled by two different systems. The room is two stories with one cooling system on the second floor and one on the main level. Can I use one temperature sensor to control both of the nest thermostats or do I need two sensors?

@ncwanderer , the nest remote temperature sensor can only be paired with a single nest thermostat at a time.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. You can connect multiple Nest Temperature Sensors to the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E, but you can't use multiple thermostats in one sensor. Please let us know if you still have questions or concerns, as we'll be willing to assist you further.

I appreciate your help, @CoolingWizard.
