Can't Addd Thermastat After reinstalling the App (Isorry if this is a duplicate)

Today my Nest stopped responding.,  I didn't know it was an AWS problem so I worked through your troubleshooter. I disconnected and reconnected the thermostat to the network.  No problem. Per your instructions, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app as my phone would not connect to the Thermostat. The thermostat says connected.  When I try to add the nest in the new app it asked for a code.  I got the code from the thermostat and when I entered it said"Connection error, try again."  I restarted the thermostat.  No Luck.  I disabled and reenabled my Alexa skill.  No Luck  I have the app on 2 different phones.  When I checked the other phone, which I had not updated it still asked for the Nest to be added as a new device.


What next ?
