Can't Cancel Nest Renew

Hedge
Community Member

I did NOT signup for "Nest Renew" but my thermostat has just recently been changed by "Nest Renew". This unsanctioned change put my elderly mother into a health emergency, because Nest Renew changed the temperature on the thermostat which led to her room become VERY hot.

I cannot find any setting to cancel this program.

I am seriously thinking of ripping this thing off my wall and going to a different company.  I've googlefied my entire house, but this has caused me to second guess my decision.  This is just too dangerous for someone else to have control over the climate inside my house, besides the people living in the house!

PLEASE HELP!

This issue was resolved.  My daughter had signed us up with her email account.  It would be nice for the account associated with the owner of the thermostat to be notified when. One of the users (not the owner) signs up to have the thermostat controlled by a 3rd party.

Cancel Nest Renew by going to nestrenew.google.com, login, go to settings, scroll down, manage enrollment, unenroll.
