Can't add Nest Thermostat to the Nest App after setup on Google Home

I first setup my Nest Thermostat E on Google Home, now I can't add it to the Nest App. The Nest App connects to my account and find my Home set up, but can't add the product (Nest Thermostat E). When I manually try to add it, I can't to. Now I can't add a sensor because the Nest App can't find my thermostat.

 

 I tried the Google Support, but, honestly, it is very frustrating. They just keep sending me the same article that doesn't help.

Thanks for reaching out. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. It’s never our intention to cause frustration or disappointment. I'd like to help. 

 

You can follow the guide below:

  1. Reinstall your Nest app.
  2. Perform Account Connection Reset on your Nest Thermostat E. 
    1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
    2. Go to Settings.
    3. Look for Reset.
    4. Select account Connection.
    5. Once the reset is done, proceed by connecting your thermostat to your Wi-Fi Network. 
  3. Go to the Nest app and add your thermostat there by following the prompt. 
  4. Once the setup is complete, remove the batteries of your Nest Temperature Sensor and put them back in. 
  5. Proceed by adding your sensor in the Nest app.
