Can’t add new (5th) thermostat to Nest App

I am having problems adding the replacement learning thermostat so that it shows up in the Nest app. It hooks up to wi-if fine. I currently have 2 learning thermostats and 2 thermostat E units that are working and showing in the app. When I try to add this new one, it searches for a devise to assist and then gives me error TD013(4096). Any ideas? As I mentioned, this is the 5th Nest unit in the home…. : (

Hi DANDE,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with adding your 5th Nest Thermostat. It's possible that it's just not communicating with the existing Nest Thermostats on your network. To isolate the issue, could you try rebooting the thermostat that you want to add and the nearest Nest Thermostat before trying to add again?
