NEST thermostat - schedule not working

i bought a house in august which was fitted wiht a NEST thermostat linked to the gas central heating. I can switch on and off the heating from my Android phone but i havent been able to use the schedule. Ive tried from my phone and also from a computer. It lets me pick the times and temperatures but nothing happens
