I am experiencing the same thing.  I tried migrating to the Google home app and still cannot make changes.

I am still not having any luck.

Hey folks,

Sorry for the delayed response but thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community.

A few questions — are you getting a message or a code when signing into your Nest app? If yes, what is it? Also, what is the make and model of your mobile device? It would be great as well if you could provide a rundown of the steps that you've tried so we can pick up from where you've left off.

Best,

Melba

I'm having the same issue as the above users. IPhone SE, no errors, no messages. All looks normal, it just no longer allows me to control the Nest. Ditto the desktop browser Nest site - https://home.nest.com/. It shows my property but I can't control from there. What's up?

I have a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation.

I have the Nest App on my iphone 14Pro.

I migrated from my email login to Google login. (big mistake)

Now, I can't control my thermostat from the app. I don't see any error messages.

I am having this issue now too. I have an iPhone 12. Not sure what version of Nest. It has worked well for over 2 years but right now, when I try to change the temperature setting from the app, nothing happens. Need to get up and manually change it in the Nest.

Yep, and they won't help you on here, I can't use the app anymore, never found an answer

Try uninstalling it, and then reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi. That worked for me.

I’ve tried that and reset modem, restarted the thermostat, followed every suggestion I can find and still has not resolved … Ugh …
