app does not allow entry of last four digits of serial #

Start app does not accept or even recognize "last four digits" entry in Home setup app !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response. I want to take a look into this. 

A few questions — what specific Google Nest device are you trying to set up? Is this a first time set up or has your device worked before? Also, are you getting a message or a code after entering the "last four digits"? If yes, what is it?

Tell me more and I'll be glad to check on it.

To add: I am setting up a new Nest Learning Thermostat. It cannot be added to Google Home, but is otherwise working.
