Can’t link google nest to google home

hi,

I can’t add google nest thermostat to my iOS google home application all setup with the same google account credentials. 

1. Open google home

2. click on the account button in top right 

3. Go to assistant settings

4. manage devices 

5. add devices

6. works with alexa

7. select “nest”

8. You are then taken to home.nest.com

which has no option to sign in with Google, and using your Google credentials don’t work, meaning I can’t create a link. 

If however you visit home.nest.com via browser, it diverts to https://home.nest.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fhome.nest.com%2F and presents an option to login with Google. 

Scanning the QR code on the thermostat, but once scanned the process just stops as if nothings happened and takes me back to the Home Screen.

Resolved in the end. I had to factory reset the thermostat after disassociating the device from my nest app. 

reset it all up and the device is now visible in my Google home and other smart devices.
