Can you turn the Nest Thermostat display off when you sleep? (because it's located in a bedroom)

Hi,

I'll need to place my Nest Learning thermostat in my bedroom.  My concern is that the light from the display is going to bother me at night. Even if it's 'mostly off, most of the time' because I'm not within 3 feet of it and have turned off farsight, I'd prefer to keep it simple and be able to turn the display off until I want it on.  This doesn't seem possible and yet it doesn't seem like an unreasonable demand.

Any advice appreciated.

I think your request is reasonable.

Have you tried - Settings - Display - Wake On Pressing

Hi, many thanks for the speedy reply, I'll try that. I'm planning to purchase a Nest so I'll need to wait until it's in place before I can try it. Lily.
