Cannot Connect Next Thermostat to new iPhone 15

Was using iPhone7 without issue with Nest App. Cannot connect iPhone15

1. Basic Checks:

Software Updates:

  • Update the Nest app on your iPhone 15 to the latest version from the App Store.
  • Ensure your iPhone 15 is running on the latest iOS version available. Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues

2. Connection and Permissions:

  • Wi-Fi: Make sure both your iPhone 15 and your Nest thermostat are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Bluetooth: While a strong Wi-Fi connection is crucial, some Nest thermostats might also require Bluetooth for initial setup or communication. Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone 15 and see if it helps.

3. Reinstall and Restart:

  • Reinstall Nest App: Sometimes a clean reinstall can resolve app glitches. Try deleting the Nest app from your iPhone 15 and then reinstalling it from the App Store.
  • Restart Devices: Restart both your iPhone 15 and your Nest thermostat. A simple reboot can sometimes clear temporary connection issues.

4. Nest Thermostat Troubleshooting:
