Hello.
I just bought a Google Nest. I have installed the device and it controls the HVAC system but will not connect to the WIFI. I keep getting message "Something went wrong, we couldn't connect to that network. check your password"
The password i entered is correct. I have tried resetting the device, changing batteries, resetting the router. Nothing has worked. All my other home devices are connected to the network.
I'm about ready to return the device unless someone can advise me otherwise.

Hi Jmmedlin,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Let's sort this out.
A few questions: What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? How far away is the thermostat from the router? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the thermostat? Are you trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network? What’s the make and model of your router? Also, have you seen any message or code on the app aside from "Something went wrong; we couldn't connect to that network. Check your password."?
I'll look forward to your response.
Best,
Zoe
