Cannot connect Nest Thermostat to App

No matter what I try or do I can’t connect my thermostat to the app. I even bought a new one (different model). HELP!!!!!

Which Nest thermostat are you using, and which of the apps are you trying to connect it to?

I used to have the Nest Learning Thermostat but that didn’t want to connect so I bought the other Nest Thermostat and it’s still not connecting no matter what I do!

Chiming in — I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. Let's sort this out: what apps are you using for your Nest Thermostat, is it Google Home app or Nest app? In what step won't you be able to go through? Also, on your app and on your thermostat, what messages or code do you keep receiving?

Hey, I am using the google home app as instructed. Important to note that I had the same issue with my old nest thermostat using the Nest App.
