Cannot connect to nest app with iPhone

All of a sudden I am no longer able to access the Nest app with my iphone or iPad. I can control my thermostat using the Google Home app but it won’t allow me to access the Nest app which I have always done.

I am having the exact same issue. Google home sees the thermostat but I am unable to log into the Neat App. I am also unable to retrieve my password. I also not that when I try to rest the thermostat the QR code that come up , when scanned takes me to a web page Hipogo which looks like a scam.

I have the same issue here. The website and Google Home App work, but the Nest iPhone app does not. This is the case for all my Apple devices.

Same issue. The app and account have worked for years, now they don't. Deleting the app and reinstalling doesn't work. Relogging in doesn't work. 

If I try to log into a different gmail account, that works. It's like they messed up something about our normal accounts.

Thanks for providing this feedback. If I have to create a new account and start all over, I will look for another thermostat vendor. I will give them a few days to resolve and, if not, move on to an Ecobee or something. I was thinking of upgrading to their new version of the Nest, but now it might not be an option.

I'm in the same boat. After past experiences here (issues with the Home app, issues with Protects bricking), I don't have much hope that they'll get to the bottom of the problem. If it's like last time, Support will do nothing, then pop in a month and a half later to ask how it's going before locking the post. 

One by one my Google products have died because of issues caused remotely by Google themselves. The thermostat was the last device standing. Time to move on I think.

I had a productive session with chat support who seemed to take it up the chain. Some hours later it started working. 

So kudos to support.

@hfb Thank you for your efforts in getting this resolved! I’m impressed by the quick turnaround from customer support. I can confirm that mine is working as well.
