@Liv4 , if you recall the instructions that were included with your nest, thermostat and advised you to take a picture of the old thermostat wiring so you can reference it when you install the new nest thermostat backplate. Since you follow the instructions closely, please do us a favor and upload the picture you took of your old thermostat in the wires so we can see what color wired is attached to what terminal. Then upload the picture of the nest backplate that you took of the currentnest thermostat so we can see it. The wires were attached properly to the correct terminals.
